Today being the first day of March and Spring just around the corner, I was wondering if it would be nice weather or stormy weather. After all, they say that if March comes in like a Lion with bad weather, that it will go out like a lamb with nice weather.
The weather doesn’t really mean that much to me unless it is extreme, but I do admit that if I had a choice I would prefer good weather, like a typical Spring or Summer day. I guess that also depends upon your definition of good. To me, good weather is a sunny day with a slight breeze. If the temperatures range anywhere between 55 and 90, then I am a happy girl.
Most of the boots I have are not for wearing in the rain and walking through mud. But I saw these Ralph Lauren boots and had to have them. These are classy and practical and with all this rain we’ve been having lately, I need them.
These boots are going to be great for the next several weeks during the Spring rains, and then I’m sure I will get more use out of them once in a while when we have the Summer evening thunderstorms and Autumn rains, too.
We had such a storm today I couldn’t believe it. I’ve seen a lot of bad weather in my life but today was one of the worst in recent memory. The rain was coming down so hard that I could hardly see my neighbor’s house! The cats all were hiding under the bed as the thunder was really loud and they wouldn’t come out for anything.
I checked the weather to see if the worst was over but it may not be. I’m glad I am inside today and have already done my shopping this morning. At least something went right! I’ll let you if we survive or if we are all washed away. For now I am signing off and taking extra precautions….
Today started out as one hot day. This morning it was so hot I thought I would melt. I couldn’t wait to get to work so I could relax in the air conditioning. As usual, my luck ran out and as I started on my way home it started to rain. Isn’t that always the way? I guess I should be glad that at least it will cool down some. I hope the weather is better tomorrow.
This hasn’t been an extremely hot and humid summer, for the most part, but there is no way getting around this type of stuff each and every year. At least the farmers are happy with the rain.
Only two more weeks until the 2012 Summer Olympics are scheduled and all we will be seeing on our local NBC stations are going to be the games and all things surrounding these games. I can’t wait to see the Opening Ceremony, after that I will follow the gymnastics and a few other events, other than that I will be watching other programs until the Closing Ceremony commences.
