Drinking coffee is relatively new to me. I have always been a tea drinker. But I kept being handed different types of coffee drinks at work that people would buy for everyone and eventually I started getting used to the taste, since I just couldn’t throw it away and they kept insisting to at least give it a try. I still enjoy my hot cup of tea first thing in the morning and the one that I have right after dinner. But throughout the day I do enjoy a cup of coffee now and then and co-workers are still coming in with new coffee based drinks that are on sale or are some type of holiday special, which is fun!
The coffee that is always available in the break room is this best decaf coffee that I’ve tried so far. It is Seattle’s Best Blend Decaf Coffee that they order online.
I do try and drink as much decaf coffee and my tea as well, so it doesn’t make me too wired up and we all know that caffeine is not good for you in the long run. I don’t think caffeine affects me like it does so many other people. I really can live with or with out it.
It seems that there is a new study out that predicts that women are more susceptible to cigarette smoke than men. A study by the Swiss indicates that women are younger when they get lung cancer, even if they have smoked less than men. There are other studies that show that women die in greater numbers than men from smoking.
Second hand smoke also plays a role in people who get cancer. I think it is important that if you smoke, at least have the courtesy to go outside and away from everyone else. Don’t forget that lung cancer is the leading cause of death for all people in the U.S.
Bubble Baths are one of the best stress busters for me and I try to enjoy one at the end of a long day at work. I find myself a good book, bring the cell and house phone in the room with me, and soak for a good 30 minutes, or so, with all of the bubbles that my tub will hold.
Between the laundry mat and my nightly bubble bath I get a good amount of time to enjoy my favorite reading materials and I really enjoy reading. I go through books like a crazy person, they come in the house and stay a while and back out the door they go, making room for the newly acquired ones. It is a constant shuffle but well worth the effort and time.
I had been telling my mother about online dating for months, but for some reason she was very reluctant to give it a try. For some reason, she was under the impression that you have to be knowledgeable about computers. Finally, after much persuasion on my part, she was ready to give it a try. There are so many sites it was very difficult for her to choose just one. The one that seemed the most appealing to her was a 50 plus dating club.
We began searching on the site and were surprised at how many great people there were in our local area looking for companionship. The search alone changed my mother’s outlook on online dating and dating in general. She found the site very easy to use, even for someone that may not be too computer savvy. They allow you to post a picture of yourself and make a profile explaining you and your interests. She was looking through others profiles in no time.
From time to time in America, you hear about some bridge or another that has fallen down. While it doesn’t happen that often, it does happen often with tragic results. Our bridges and roads are in bad shape in some areas and they need to be fixed. I hope our congress will support this effort by passing a new bill that will allot at least $60 billion dollars toward this effort.
