One of the things that I really love about YouTube is that you can find just about any and everything that you could image looking for. As much as I am not into Christmas music, considering I hear so much of it at the mall on the nights that I work at the kiosk during the holiday season for the past couple of years,
I did enjoy this version of “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Jimmy Fallan, Mariah Carey and The Roots. It managed to find itself on to YouTube pretty darned quick, that is one of the reasons why I like YouTube.
As I’ve said before, one of the things that I don’t like about YouTube is that these wonderful videos can and do disappear, more often than not at some point. Some songs I have spent a good amount of time locating just the right version with the best audio possible and gone to listen to it and Badda Boom, Badda Bing it is forever gone! Man that just burns me up.
I’ve gone back to re read some of my previous post that had an YouTube video embedded in it and all there is now is an empty black box, which I’m sure Google doesn’t much care for and I’m probably being penalized for when they do their quarterly ranking sweeps. I’m guessing I should delete the whole post but I really hate doing that.
One of the songs that was so popular back in the 60’s was D-I-V-O-R-C-E by Tammy Wynette. For some reason every time I hear the word divorce this song pops into my head and stays there for several hours some times driving me absolulty crazy. You can imagine how many times we all hear the word divorce in our daily lives and how many times I am stuck with this hit song playing over and over in my mind. Sometimes I wish this song had never come out!
The term “private reserve” sounds so uppity, but in all reality anyone can purchase a musicians friend private reserve if you know what you want/need and you have the means to pay for what most discriminating players and collectors are interested in.
I have been doing business with Musician’s Friend for some time now. Their website is way up high on my “Favorites” list and I don’t see it coming down any time soon. With Christmas shopping in full swing considering it is finally after Labor Day. The musical side of the family is always looking for new musical related items. Musician’s Friend has helped me figure out the perfect gift time and time again over the years.

Robots seem to be in all the latest movies we see. Whether it is the Terminator, or transformers, these living machines dominate the box office. Although the movie versions of these machines have far greater capabilities than anything we have to date, it may not be long before they greatly increase their operational capability.
Many advances in the field of electronics are leading designers to believe that the age of robots is near. The Sci-fi fantasies may soon become true. I look forward to the day when a robot will be able to do my laundry and clean my house. Until then, I’ll have to do it myself!
