Ever since I was a young child, I’ve always heard that the appendix was a useless organ. I remember when I had my own taken out at the hospital. I woke up feeling mighty weird. As far as I know, I haven’t missed it any, but new information has come to light suggesting that this organ may have a role to play.

Scientists have been studying the organ and think that it may play a role in making white blood cells. It may also store good bacteria until it is needed by the body. I think it’s kind of funny that now that I don’t have an appendix, I may end up needing it. That’s just my luck!

One thing about our office is that we constantly have people taking business trips. We have clients all over the U.S. and around the world as well. The problem is that many times it becomes difficult to decide which expenses are necessary and which expenses are personal. That’s why we decided to use calling cards as a way to separate the two. This idea has paid off in savings to our company.

All we do is give each person a prepaid card with a given amount on it. Our representative then uses the card until it is used up. Then we decide whether or not to issue a new card. The idea is simple but effective. For example, I recently issued a Mexican calling card to a salesman. After using the card, we decided to issue him another so that he could finish his business.

I really like using the cards as they are easy to get and provide low rates. They also prevent us from being overcharged by foreign phone companies that may be difficult to deal with. All in all, the whole thing has worked out nicely. I think every business should look into these cards as an option.

We have three cats in our house. Today I would like to speak about one of them. His name is tiger and he likes to go outside a lot. The problem is that it has been raining and he hates the rain. Nevertheless, he meowed at the door and so I let him out. When he discovered it was raining, he wanted back in.

I guess my cat thinks he is smart and so he decided to try the back door. He meowed at the back door until I let him out again. He quickly discovered that it was raining outback as well. Now he has given up and is under the couch. He is one funny cat!

As we have fixing up the house and yard, we thought we would continue with this effort. One thing I have been wanting to do for a long time is to find some contemporary furniture for the living room. I have always liked the look of this type of furniture and I think it would fit well with the rest of our décor. I went online to see what I could find and was lucky to find a pretty neat website.

The site is called eroomservice.com and they have a large selection of furniture from designers in Europe and Italy. I have been visiting the site every couple of days over the last several weeks trying to decide which of the furnishings that I like best. I have gathered the opinions of my husband and the kids and I think I’ve narrowed the choice down to two pieces. Now all I have to do is pick one!
