Thank you Soldiers! This Memorial Day should remind us all of the contributions and sacrifices all of our service members have made to our countries freedom. I hope that every family that has lost a son or daughter for the cause of freedom will take solace if the fact that their loved one has helped to maintain our countries greatness. I am proud to support all our troops who risk their lives every day in our nation’s defense.

I am also glad to have a three day weekend. I really needed a break from work and hope to have a day to just relax with the family and enjoy life. I have looked forward to this day for a long time and plan to make the most of it. I think we will probably cook out on the grill enjoy our backyard. Anyone who has served in the armed forces is welcome to stop by and have a burger on us!

I truly do love my husband. But, sometimes we have a little disagreement. My husband came home with a picture he found at a thrift shop. He was thrilled with it and wanted to hang it up in the living room. I thought it was the most horrid thing I’d ever seen. We soon were deep in battle. “It has a dog in it, how could you not like the dog” he cried, now I have nothing against dogs, but I will not have a dog in a bar room hanging on my living room wall.

In the end, love overcame and the argument ended. We made up after reaching a compromise. He is happy and I am satisfied, and the picture hangs on the wall of our basement!

One of my favorite sites to visit is Craig’s list. After my sister told me about the site, I have been checking it out on a constant basis. I really enjoy looking through all the items that are for sell. I also like to check out the wanted items section. There is a wide variety of things available and many times they are very inexpensive. I have also posted some things myself!

I had an old bicycle that I wanted to get rid of. It needed a little repair, but it would be a great bike for someone who needed one. I listed the bike on the free items section and received a call from a man who was interested. He came and took the bike and was happy to have it. I was glad to get rid of it and free up some space in our garage! I think everyone should take a few minutes and visit this site, but be careful, you may find yourself becoming a Craig’s list junkie like me!

It that special day when again when everyone celebrates moms. Every year on the second Sunday in May, we all pay tribute to moms throughout the world. Whenever I think of “Home”, I think of Mom. I hope that she knows how much I have appreciated having her in my life. I know she went through a lot when she brought me up and I’ve always done my best to make her proud.

I hope that people throughout the world will join in this special day dedicated to Moms. In my opinion, they deserve more than just one day of celebration. I hope that my Mom knows that she is special to me every day. I want my Mom to know that I love her than words can express and I will always cherish her love. Thanks for all you do Mom!!
