There are many problems that can crop up when you work in a large office. Since I am one of the bosses, I usually end up having to solve the problem. When we had trouble finding a replacement for our IBM as400 , I thought I would have a difficult day. I was glad to find that some solutions are easier than you think.

The day started out as any other. Around ten o’clock, an assistant of mine came to me in a panic. Our system had gone down and the tech department could not fix the problem. We were dead in the water. I knew that I had to find a solution soon. I got my laptop out and started looking for a replacement system. It turns out that they specialize in reselling equipment. That means that their prices are very competitive with everyone else on the internet. I was able to purchase another system and have it sent to us right away. I must admit that I had saved the day for my company. The tech people quickly got our system back online and my boss was impressed with my quick thinking. I’m glad when I can shine!

Everybody has their own pet peeve. Mine is at the grocery store. It happened again today and so I thought I would vent a little. It seems that whenever there is a long line ahead of me, there is always someone who makes my wait a little longer. After waiting in line for over ten minutes, the lady in front of me got all her things through the register. Only when the final bill was tallied did she finally decide how she was going to pay.

I always get irritated when someone gets out their purse and digs around for five minutes trying to find their money. All that could have been done beforehand. I always make it a point to be ready with my money or credit card when my turn comes so as to quicken the process for those behind me. I hope some other people would do the same!

As we have fixing up the house and yard, we thought we would continue with this effort. One thing I have been wanting to do for a long time is to find some contemporary furniture for the living room. I have always liked the look of this type of furniture and I think it would fit well with the rest of our décor. I went online to see what I could find and was lucky to find a pretty neat website.

I have been visiting the site every couple of days over the last several weeks trying to decide which of the furnishings that I like best. I have gathered the opinions of my husband and the kids and I think I’ve narrowed the choice down to two pieces. Now all I have to do is pick one!
